How does Auracall do it?

They brought about the creation of Openreach, which is run by BT. They have 33,000 employees who have to install, support and maintain the wiring, fibres and connections which auracall then provide to you at a lower price.

Auracall uses advanced telecoms technology to reduce the number of people we need to employ and therefore our costs are much lower.

OFCOM sets the wholesale or "raw" cost price of your telecoms. BT Retail then increases this "raw" price to cover the costs of running their huge organisation and also provide a profit for their shareholders. The "raw’ price plus their costs plus their profit is the price they charge you.

Auracall meets the requirements of OFCOM and is allowed to buy at the same "raw" price as BT Retail. However, because we are a smaller organisation and have advanced technology we do not need to increase the "raw" or wholesale price anywhere near as much as BT.

So, our prices are lower.
